A. Introduction
Loadline Certification is stautory activities constituting delegation of authority by Ship’s Flag State.
B. BKI Services
There are 2 (two) types of loadline :
| ● | Loadline certificate according to KM 3. Tahun 2005 applies to Indonesian waters and surrounding area. This certificate valid for 5 (five) years. |
| ● | Loadline certificate according to International Load Line Convention (ILLC 1996) applies to ocean going ships. This certificate is valid for 5 (five) years. |
Ship that has a loadline Certificate required to carry out periodic surveys of Loadline conducted by BKI Surveyor and after completed the survey, Loadline Certificate will be endorsed.
C. Certification Procedure
| ● | Submitting application to the nearest BKI’s branch office. |
| ● | Submitting General Arrangement drawing and Stability Calculation to BKI. |
| ● | BKI Surveyor Verifies the Loadline requirement onboard. |
| ● | BKI Head Office issues Instruction of Freeboard Mark Installation. |
| ● | Installation of Freeboard Mark onboard supervised by BKI Surveyor. |
| ● | Issuance of Loadline Certificate. |
